Ripon and the Lower Dales

In this, and in partnership with others wherever possible, the Ripon and Lower Dales Mission Area will concentrate its prayers, resources, imagination and commitments on this priority:

"To Celebrate our diversity of rural ministry, knowing God where we are and to make God known to others."

We endeavour to be a Christian presence in all our communities by volunteering where we can, taking worship into care homes, using our premises for activities such as Soft play, toddler groups, Bible Study as well as worship.

Ripon and Lower Dales Mission Area is a rural area and of our 13 churches, 8 are in villages, 2 in a (small) city and 3 in small market towns.  We are keen to be a Christian presence in all of our communities and in many places we work together with our friends in other denominations. One of our congregations is a Local Ecumenical Partnership.
